STD ELECTRIC BUTTERFLY VALVE
5.1 INFORMATION ABOUT THE VALVE STATUS
The valve LED shows lighting information to inform the user about its status.

BSR OPTION
Security system in case of electrical failure, the actuator which is fitted with the BSR plug-in failsafe system, will go to the
predetermined position: NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed).
IMPORTANT:
It is recommended that the electric valve could have an independent fuse system to protect it from other electrical
elements in line as pumps.

SET UP AND OPERATION
If adhesive has been used for the pipe union, please check the drying conditions of the adhesive (recommended by the
manufacturer) before passing fluid through the installation.
First of all, let pass fluid at low pressure by the valve and check both positions, open and closed; if the installation is well done, it
must show no leakage. After this checking, the installation could work normally.
It is very important to purgue the air in the installation, if not the valve could not work correctly.
Respect always the system conditions recommended by the manufacturer (pressure, temperature, chemical resistance, etc.) in
the valve, pipes, fittings, etc. Conditions explained in the Cepex Technical Catalogue and in the Hydraulic concepts in the Cepex
website.
