ADVANCED SETTINGS
ISO sensiti v ity is a v al u e that expresses sensiti v ity to light. A
larger v al u e indicates higher sensiti v ity, w hich is b etter for
shooting w hen a v aila b le lighting is dim. If yo u w ant to u se faster
sh u tter speeds, yo u sho u ld u se a higher ISO sensiti v ity v al u e.
Under certain conditions, a fast sh u tter speed in com b ination
w ith a high ISO sensiti v ity setting can ca u se digital noise, w hich
makes an image appear ro u gh. For clean, good-q u ality images,
u se the lo w est possi b le ISO sensiti v ity setting.

In the REC mode, press [SET].

Use [

] and [
T
] to select the fifth option from
the top in the operation panel (ISO Sensitivity).

Use [
W
] and [
X
] to select the setting you want
and then press [SET].
IMPORTANT!
•
Using flash w ith high ISO sensiti v ity can ca u se pro b lems
w ith s ub jects that close to the camera.
•
“A u to” ISO sensiti v ity al w ays is u sed for mo v ies, regardless
of the c u rrent ISO sensiti v ity setting.

Yo u can u se the key c u stomization feat u re to config u re the
[
W
] and [
X
] bu ttons so they control the ISO sensiti v ity
setting (page 13 8 ).
