14. Turn the upper frame 45° clockwise. Set the gate lock
lever to central position, stop the engine, and remove
the starter key.
15. Repeat the procedure described in the steps from 6 to
14 for three more times.
16. Complete the check of the greasing on the other half
of the swing ring. Make sure to check the greasing
every
45° .
17. Install the inspection cover (2) on the front of the upper
frame.

18. Get onto the cab, start the engine, and set the gate
lock lever in forward position. Slowly turn the upper
structure frame counterclockwise, and complete three
360° rotations.
19. Stop the rotation. Slowly turn the upper structure
frame clockwise and complete two 360° rotations.
20. Stop the rotation. Set the gate lock lever to central
position, stop the engine, and remove the starter key.
21. Clean up any more grease that has come out from the
sealing lip of the turntable bearing. Make sure that the
sealing lip is reset to its seating position.
22. Clean the grease fittings on the turntable bearing, and
install the protective caps.
23. Remove the plug (1) so to drain any more water and
greasy mud. Tighten the plug (1) . Install the cover in
the bottom of the lower frame.
