NOTICE:

Operating the engine with loosened belt may

cause insufficient charging of the battery due to slipping
belt in its housing.

Fuel tank

WARNING

Fire hazard!
When handling diesel fuel, observe the following precautions:
1. Do not smoke.
2. Never fill the tank when the engine is running.
3. Wipe up spilled fuel immediately.
Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.

Drain water and sediment from the fuel tank every

10 h

or every day

NOTICE:

The fuel tank must be drained taking precautions so that any foreing material may get inside. Failing to

comply will lead to severe damages to the fuel supply system and to the fuel injection system.

To drain water and sediment from the fuel tank proceed
as follows:

1. Park the machine on a hard and level ground. Orient

the upper structure frame so that there is enough free
space under the fuel tank to place a barrel of suitable
capacity.

2. Stop the engine and remove the starter key.

3. Open the lower panel

(1)

below the fuel tank to access

the drain valve.

4. Place a container of a suitable capacity under the drain

valve.

5. Open the valve and drain the accumulated sediment

and water.

NOTICE:

the drained materials shall be disposed accord-

ing to the local Regulations for special wastes.

6. Close the drain valve, and lock the lower panel below

the fuel tank.
