Installation instructions
During installation, please check carefully the below items:
(1) Before installation
(2) Selecting the location for installation
• If the connected units’ quantity and the total capacity is within the permitted range?
• If the refrigerant pipe length is within the permitted range?
• If the pipe size is correct, and if the pipe is installed horizontally?
• If the branch pipe is installed horizontally or vertically?
• If the additional refrigerant is counted correctly and weighed using the standard balance?
• If there is refrigerant leakage?
• If all indoor power supplies can be powered on/off simultaneously?
• If the power voltage is in compliance with the data marked on the rating label?
• If the address of the indoors has been set?
1) Before installation, check if the model, power supply, pipe, wires, and parts purchased are correct.
2) Check if the indoors and outdoors can be combined as follows.
Notice:
• Total capacity of indoor units being used ≤ 100% of the rated
capacity of the outdoor units.
• The maximum number and total capacity of indoor units are
shown in the table above. If the total capacity of the indoor units
is greater than the rated capacity of the outdoor units, the actual
cooling or heating effect of each indoor unit may not reach its
rated capacity.
Notice:
The branch pipe should be installed horizontally;
the maximum error angle should not exceed
10 degrees.
The air conditioner cannot
be installed in places with
inflammable gas, or it will cause
a fire hazard.
The unit should be installed in places
with good ventilation. There should be
no obstacles at the air inlet/outlet, as
well as no strong wind blowing.
• A place where water can flow freely.
• A place where no other heat source
will affect the unit.
• Pay attention to snow clogging the
outdoor unit.
• Install the anti- vibration rubber
between the unit and the bracket.
The unit should be installed in a
place where cold/hot air or noise
would not affect the neighbours.
The unit should be installed in a strong
place, or it will cause vibration and
produce noise.
• Avoid installing the unit in the below
places, or it will result in damages.
• Places with corrosive gas (spa areas,
etc.).
• Places where the air is salty (seaside,
etc.).
• Places that emit smoke from coal.
• Places with high humidity.
• Places that contain devices emitting
Hertzian waves.
• Places where voltage changes
greatly.
