AUTO COMPLETION DWELL

 

 

The 

AUTO COMPLETION DWELL

 option allows an operator to set the amount 

of time the Model 75 waits after the clamp jaws open, before returning the cutter 
blade to its home (closed) position when 

CYCLE COMPLETION MODE

 is set to 

AUTO

.  This dwell can be set between 0.1 and 2.5 seconds. 

 
To set the auto completion dwell, position the blue data highlight cursor over the 

AUTO COMPLETION DWELL

 data field and enter the desired value with the 

number keys.

 

 

3. 

PULL OFFSET DISTANCE

 

 
The 

PULL OFFSET DISTANCE

 option allows the operator to set the distance 

that the gripper blades index forward to position them correctly for the slug 
removal (pull-off) portion of the strip cycle. 
 
The 

PULL OFFSET DISTANCE

 is set at the factory during initial setup of the 

machine, to a distance that will close the gripper blades at the same point along 
the cable that the cutter blade severs the cable. 
 

Note

: In normal operation, the factory setting for the 

PULL OFFSET DISTANCE

 

option should be acceptable for most applications, and adjustment of this 
parameter is not recommended.

SAVE SETTINGS AND EXIT

 

 
When done setting the process options, position the blue data highlight cursor 

over the 

SAVE SETTINGS AND EXIT

 option and press 

 to save the 

settings and return to the configuration menu.

When installing a new cutter blade or gripper blades on the Model 75, this option is 

selected by highlighting it with the blue data highlight cursor and pressing the 

 key.
