3 Memory ERASE Mode
Occasionally it is desirable to completely erase a memory location. This prevents
unwanted data from being displayed when viewing the wire
LIST
, and removes the
possibility of an operator recalling a cable program that is obsolete.
To erase a memory location, press the
key and position the blue data highlight
cursor over
ERASE
, then press the
key. The Model 75 will prompt the operator
for the memory number to erase, and the current memory number will be displayed as
in Figure 4-15.
To erase the data in the current memory location displayed, simply press the
key.
If a different memory location is to be erased, enter the desired memory number with
the number keys. If an error is made during number entry, pressing
will clear the
field and allow re-entry of the number. Press
when finished.
The Model 75 will prompt the operator to confirm if the memory number should be
erased. See Figure 4-18 below. To erase the memory location, position the blue data
highlight cursor over
YES
and press the
key. The Model 75 will display a
