5.2 MCHSMLSER0: convertitore seriale per
µchiller compact

Il convertitore elettronico MCHSMLSER0
consente di interfacciare il µchiller compact
ad un rete di supervisione in standard
RS485 (asincrono) e/o al terminale remoto
MCHTER00C0.

Montaggio
Il convertitore è predisposto per il
montaggio su guida DIN. Esso va
collocato ad un distanza non supe-
riore a 90 cm dal µchiller compact,
usando il cavetto in dotazione.
Effettuare i collegamenti seguendo
le indicazioni della figura sottostan-
te rispettando la denominazione dei
morsetti riportatata sulle etichette,
fare attenzione ad utilizzare coppie
separate per i segnali D-/D+ e SK-
/SK+. Per inserire il connettore
seriale sul µchiller si raccomanda di
sfilare la spina a 12 vie (relè) e di
operare sempre a macchina non alimentata.

Set up:
Per il corretto funzionamento del terminale remoto e del
supervisore non dimenticare di impostare rispettivamente i
parametri H8 (H8=1) e HA (HA=indirizzo seriale del super-
visore). La linea seriale del supervisore va terminata con
una resistenza da 120

Ω

1/4W tra i morsetti Tx/Rx+ e Tx/Rx-

del MCHSMLSER0 che si trova all’estremità della rete.

Avvertenze:
1. Non collegare a terra

contemporaneamente sia il
secondario del trasformatore
che alimenta la scheda sia la
calza del cavetto del terminale
remoto; questo danneggerebbe
in modo irreparabile la scheda.

2. Se si utilizza il supervisore, non

alimentare il convertitore
MCHSMLSER0 senza prima
collegarlo al µchiller compact
oppure mantenendo quest’ultimo
spento, per evitare di disturbare
la comunicazione tra il supervisore
e le eventuali altre periferiche
connesse al bus RS485.

5.2 MCHSMLSER0: serial converter for µchiller
compact

The electronic MCHSMLSER0 allows you to
interface the µchiller compact to a
supervisory network in RS485 standard
(asynchronous), and at the MCHTER00C0
remote terminal.

Mounting
The converter is arranged for the
DIN rail mounting. It must to be
placed at a distance not exceeding
90cm from the µchiller compact,
with the kit cable. Carry out the
connections as from Figure in
dications being careful to the
terminal denominations on the label.
Attention to use different twisted pairs
for signal D-/D+ and S-/S+.To insert
the serial connector in the µchiller,
with draw the 12-way plug (relay)
and always operate in the absence of
machine power supply.

Set up
For a correct functioning of the remote terminal and the
supervisory system, do not forget to select respectively
the parameters H8 (H8=1) and HA (HA=serial address of
the supervisor RS485 network). The serial line of the
supervisor has to be terminated with a 120

stor between the Tx/Rx+ and Tx/Rx- terminals of the
MCHSMLSER0 situated at the end of the network.

Note:
1. Do not earth contemporarly the

secondary of the transformer that
supplies the card and the cable
braiding of the remote terminal
to avoid damaging irreparably
the card.

2. If the supervisor is utilised, do

not feed the MCHSMLSER0
converter without previously
connecting it to the µchiller
compact or maintaining the last
one OFF, in order to avoid
disturbing the communication
between the supervisor and the
other possible peripherals
connected to the RS485 bus.
