Fault tracing table welder unit
Error Possible cause Solution
No power
The main switch button must be lighted.
- No supply voltage.
- Blown fuse(s) in the main supply on the wall
outlet.
- Loose connections.
- Check if there is power in the wall outlet.
- Check the main supply fuses.
- Make sure that there are no loose
connections in the electrical plug and the
wall outlet.
- Contact authorized Car-O-Liner
service personnel
Faulty spot weld
The welding current has not reached 80% of
the set current.
- Isolation between the metal sheets
of the welding object, for example adhesive.
- Uneven caps on the electrodes.
- The welder does not receive sufficient power.
- Voltage drop from power supply.
- Blown fuse(s)
- Clean between the metal sheets.
- Change or clean electrode caps.

Connection error
Communication error between front display
and the welder.
- Cable to the front display is broken or
disconnected.
- Cable to C-Tong is broken or disconnected.
- Contact authorized Car-O-Liner service
personnel.
Wrong pressure
- No supply air pressure.
- Supply air pressure is too high or too low.
- Connect the supply air pressure.
- Contact authorized Car-O-Liner
service personnel.
