Reader Setup Notes for Hurricane Access Control System:
RD1 is an Entry reader and RD2 is an Exit reader for Door A.
RD3 is an Entry reader and RD4 is an Exit reader for Door B.
Only Hurricane software supports Exit reader.
Exit readers have limited functionality:

No anti-pass back feature.
2)
Access to Exit reader is subject to access schedules defined for Entry reader in
this release of the H1000 controller.
The H1000 control panel is flashed with CP40 emulation code. In the CP40 mode
emulation, using Maestro software, the H1000 control panel supports two doors
where each door has one reader or one door with an Entry and an Exit reader. The
H1000 access controller operates with the CP40 functionalities when installed in a
Maestro Access Control System.
Reader Setup Notes for Maestro Access Control System:
CP40 Reader A: RD1 is an Entry reader for Door A.
CP40 Reader B: RD3 is an Entry reader for Door B.
RD2 &RD4 exit readers are not available with Maestro.
Lock Output Relay Wiring

There are 16 relays available on the H1000, labeled 1 to 16. Each output is a ‘dry’
form “C” contact output capable of switching 6 amps @ 30Volts. Each output is
configured for a 2-wire connection. The jumpers (JP1- JP16) are used to set the type
of the required relay contact (Normally Open (N/O) or Normally Closed (N/C)
contact). This allows for connection to standard lock sets (‘Electric Strike’ or
‘Magnetic Lock’). Each output relay has an associated LED, labeled OLED1 to
OLED16, located in front of each relay, shown in Figure 12. These LEDs indicate
the ON or OFF status of the relays.
