Printing a nozzle check pattern

●

Whether the ink is ejecting normally from the print
head nozzles.

●

Whether print head is aligned correctly.

1 Make sure the printer is switched on then set some

paper in the sheet feeder.

2 Open the printer driver, click the Maintenance tab, and

click the nozzle check pattern icon

• For details about switching on the printer and

loading paper, see the “Setup Guide” or
“User’s Guide”.

• Opening the printer driver directly

• You can also start printing a nozzle check

pattern with the printer operation panel. Make
sure paper is loaded in the sheet feeder.
Press and hold down the RESUME button
until the lamp flashes twice then release.
