Cable Duct Specifications

All cables shall be enclosed in cable channels, cable ducts or conduits according to regulations
(IEC 60601-1).

The following notes shall be considered;

•

Avoid cross-overs and forming of cable coils.

•

Use appropriate dimensions.

•

Consider the bending radius of the cables.

•

If using conduits, consider that the connectors of the high voltage cables should be

able to be pulled through.

•

Cable channels or cable ducts shall be used for on-the-floor installations.
