1. Parts to replace
- Pickup solenoid (FL2-1785)
- Attraction belt (pickup) (FC5-8146)
- Deck pull-out roller (FL2-9438)
2. Before the replacement
1) Remove the Cassette Pickup Unit. Refer to "Chapter 8 Removing the Cas-
sette Pickup Unit" in the Service Manual.
3. Replacement procedure
3-1. Removing the pickup solenoid
1) Remove the solenoid cover [1].

2) Remove the pickup solenoid [1].
- 2 Wire Saddles [2]
- 1 connector [3]
- 2 screws [4]
- 1 Spring [5]

3-2. Removing the Deck Pullout Roller
1) Turn over the Cassette Pickup Unit, and remove the Pickup Air Duct [1].
CAUTION:
After replacing the deck lifter motor unit, be sure not to forget to remove the
screwdriver that keeps the tension of the lifter wire.
If the screwdriver is difficult to remove, move the lifter drive shaft in the
backlash of the gear with the driver.

CAUTION: Point to Note When Attaching
Be sure to hook the tension spring [2] to the cutoff [1], and fit the shaft [3]
into the arm groove [4] to attach.
