3) Remove the Encoder [1].
- 2 Wire Saddles [2]
- 1 Connector [3]
- 2 Screws [4]

4) Make sure to check the following items before operation.
5) Remove the screw [1] and the E-ring [2].
6) Move the 2 bearings [3] in the direction of the arrow [A] to take them out
from the hole. And remove the ITB drive roller [4] in the direction of [B],
and then [C].

7) Remove the following parts from the ITB drive roller [1].
- 2 bearings [2]
- 1 E-ring [3]

CAUTION: Point to Note When Lifting down Intermediate Transfer
Belt Unit
When lifting down the intermediate transfer belt unit, be careful not to get
your hands caught between the intermediate transfer belt unit [1] and the
intermediate transfer frame [2].
Holding the grip [1] as shown in the figure, pull the lever [3] while lifting
the Intermediate Transfer Belt Unit [2].
Lower the Intermediate Transfer Belt Unit while pulling the lever [3], and
release both hands once it passes through the lock release position. (The
Intermediate Transfer Belt Unit will lower slowly.)

CAUTION: Point to Note When Attaching
Be sure to insert the ITB drive roller shaft into the gear with both the gear
hole [1] and the ITB drive roller's screw hole [2] facing upward.
