Press [Set].

Enter a destination using a one-touch speed dialing key, a
speed dialing code, [Redial/Pause], or the numeric keys.

• You can only use the one-touch speed dialing keys when [Function] is off. If

[Function] is on, press [Function].

• If you enter an incorrect destination, press [Clear]

to delete it. Or, press

[Delete]

to delete the last number you entered using the numeric keys.

Press [Start] to begin scanning.

•

When you use speed dialing and the <TIME OUT> setting is on, scanning starts
automatically. (See “TX Settings,” on p. 6-9.)

•

Your documents will be sent when the delayed transmission time is reached.

•

If you placed the document on the platen glass, follow steps 8 and 9 on p. 3-
12.
