This submenu allows you to specify the functions of <FAX DEFAULT> and
<LOCK PHONE>.

Additional Functions Fax Settings
Setting Item Description
1.FAX DEFAULT Sets the FAX DEFAULT functions.
1.RESOLUTION Sets the fax resolution.
OFF The resolution set using [FAX Resolution] remains even after
the AUTO CLEAR function activates (default).
STANDARD Suitable for most text only documents.
FINE Suitable for documents containing fine print.
PHOTO Suitable for documents that contain photographs.
SUPER FINE Suitable for documents that contain fine print and images (the
resolution is four times that of STANDARD).
ULTRA FINE Suitable for documents that contain fine print and images (the
resolution is eight times that of STANDARD).
2.BOOK TX SCAN SIZE Selects the scanning size for the book sending function.
SHEET (default), LGL, LTR
2.LOCK PHONE Sets the LOCK PHONE functions.
OFF The telephone and fax transmission can be used normally
(default).
ON You can receive phone calls and you can send/receive faxes;
you cannot make a telephone call.
Setting Item Description
3.TONER SUPPLY LOW Allows you to set how the machine responds when the toner
supply is low.
KEEP PRINTING The machine will keep printing until 80 pages are printed.
Subsequent pages will be stored in memory. Reset to
<RX TO MEMORY> after replacing the toner cartridge
with a new one.
RX TO MEMORY The machine receives all documents in memory (default).
