3-5 Precautions for Soft-Power-ON/OFF Mode
3-5-1 Soft-Power On/Off

The

“

soft-power-on

”

means the condition that power code is plugged, [ON/OFF] key is pressed

and the main unit is in the standby mode.
The

“

soft-power-on

”

means the condition that power code is plugged and the main unit is in the

sleep mode.

3-5-2 Conditions for Entering in Soft-Power-OFF Mode

Press and hold [ON/OFF] key while all conditions below do not satisfy.

In the service call error (Pressing and holding [ON/OFF] is operative in some service call

errors.)

During FAX communication

During Fax/Tel switching, During TEL ringing

During the automatic redial standby

During the received image printout

During ADF operation

3-5-3 FAX Operation during Soft-Power-OFF Mode

The operations below are available during the soft-power-OFF

The image memory and ICM (TAM) are saved.

The RTC data is saved.

FAX communication is not available.

3-5-4 Recovery from Soft-Power-OFF Mode

Press [ON/OFF] key.
