6-6 Assembly/Disassembly of Pressing Plate Unit

6-6-1 Disassembly of Pressing Plate Unit

1. Remove four pressing plate unit protrusions on the both sides from the machine bosses.

Remove the pressing plate unit. Remove the pressing plate unit spring.

2. Slide the side guide unit (1) approximately 3cm leftward. Position the side guide unit under

the document left (2). Rotate the document guide to near direction. Separate the document

guide and the pressing plate unit.

3. Pull the side guide unit from the reverse side surface of the pressing plate unit to near

direction. Separate the side guide unit and the pressing plate unit.
