G3 FACSIMILE COMMUNICATIONS

• FIF of CSI, CIG, and TSI

The FIF of CSI, CIG, and TSI communicates the other party of its own

telephone number. Up to 20 digits including numerals and spaces can be

entered in this FIF. 20 digits are entered to FIF as international telephone

numbers are considered to have 20 digits.

One digit comprises one byte. “

ASCII codes

” shown in Table 5-17 are

used.

In the actual format, the last digit of the telephone number becomes the

first digit of FIF as indicated in Fig. 5-82. LSB becomes the start within

the same digit.
