RECORDING SECTION

(1) Claw method

The claw at the leading edge angled section of the paper cassette holds

down the recording paper. When the recording paper is picked up by the

pickup roller, the retention force of the claw holds down the second sheet

of recording paper onwards and separates only the first sheet of recording

paper.
