Connecting to a TV or VCR
Connection Diagrams
If your TV or VCR is equipped with an S-Video terminal use connection type ,
otherwise connect using the AV terminals (connection type ). To connect to a TV or
VCR using the SCART terminal, use connection type .
Connecting to a TV or VCR
AV Terminal
• When connecting the MTC-100 Multi
Cable to the camcorder, make sure to
insert the cable straight and in the correct
direction - aligning the
marks on the
cable’s connector and on the AV terminal.
• Sound from the built-in speaker will be
muted while the MTC-100 Multi cable is
connected to the camcorder.

First, connect the supplied PC-A10 SCART Adapter to the SCART terminal on the TV
or VCR and then connect the MTC-100 Multi Cable to the adapter. The supplied PC-
A10 SCART Adapter is for output only.
