INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
• Apply pressure to both sides of the clamps to
lower them as much as possible on the fork.
Tighten clamp assembly bolts to 25N-m [18 lb-
ft]. of torque. Figure 21.
CAUTION: Clamps must be straight and at the
bottom of the front fork before the final tightening
action. Clamps incorrectly positioned may cause
damage to the front fork when the front
suspension bottoms out.
Figure 21
• Tighten, in sequence, to the manufacturer’s
torque specification: Front Fork Axle (
1
) and
the axle clamp bolts (
2
) at the bottom of the
front fork. See Figure 22.
NOTE: Alternate tightening sequence of the 4 axle
clamp bolts to distribute the tightening force.

REAR SYSTEM INSTALLATION
NOTE: The preceding steps must be completed
before begining the installation of the
Rear System.
• Position Conversion System behind
motorcycle. Align with frame mounting points.
Strut Rod must be positioned where original
shock absorber used to be.
• Lift and align Conversion System’s T-Bushings
with swingarm mounting points on frame.
• Insert swingarm axle (
1
) through frame and
System’s T-Bushings. Install Axle Nut (
2
) and
hand tighten temporarily. See Figure 23.
NOTE: Lubricate swingarm axle before assembly.
NOTE: Do not tighten the assembly at this point.
Figure 23
• Position rod end’s T-Bushing at upper shock
absorber mounting point. Choose direction of
insertion for T-Bushing that will provide the
best possible alignment for the rear system.
Re-use original shock absorber bolt (
1
). See
Figure 24.
Figure 24
• Tighten in sequence, to the manufacturer’s
torque specifications, the Swingarm axle nut
and then the bolt securing the Strut Rod end.
