INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
NOTE: To facilitate the next step, position the track’s
outside treads to provide easy access to the
Strut Rod’s lower end.
• Mount the rubber damper (
2
) on Strut Rod.
The rubber side of the damper must face the
frame. Secure the Strut Rod with bolt (
1
).
Tighten assembly to 50 N•m (37 lb•ft) of
torque. See Figure 10.
Figure 10
• Complete assembly of Strut Rod by inserting
T-Bushing (
B-1
) in rod end. See Figure 11.
Figure 11
CAUTION: Apply an even coat of grease all around
T-Bushing and rod end. If this lubrication is
omitted, premature wear on the components may
occur.
Rear Frame Mounting
• Identify the T-Bushings to be installed on the
rear frame’s mounting points. See Figure 12.
Figure 12
CAUTION: Apply an even coat of grease all around
T-Bushings and to rear frame’s mounting points. If
this lubrication is omitted, premature wear on the
components may occur.
• Insert the T-Bushings in the System’s rear
frame mounting points, making sure that they
are at the right position and in the right
direction. See Figure 13.
