The output format (number of taps) is set by the command.
Command format: OFRMx;y

Where x indicates the number of taps. Allowed values are 2, 4, 8 and 10.
y indicates the minimum Lval gap-size in interface clock periods. Allowed values are 1…255. (See
chapter 10: Camera Link Timing). The Lval gap-size value must be chosen in such a way, that the
frame grabber operates error free. In practice, it is possible that the camera does an internal re-
adjustment of this value if the internal timing is not feasible.
Also, to compensate for latencies in the camera while outputting an ROI or WOI-set, the camera may
increase the Lval gap-size.
This re-adjusted value is not represented by the OFRM? command.
NOTE: The 8 and 10 tap Camera Link formats only supports 8 bit pixel resolution. If the camera is
operated in eirther 8 or 10 tap Camera Link configuration, the output resolution (OR) is pushed to 8 bit.
If the camera output is set to 10 tap operation, the Lval gap-size is pushed to at least 16 clock
periods.
If the camera output is set to 10 tap operation, the horizontal resolution is limited to 2000 pixels on
4Mpixel models and 4080 on 12 Mpixel models.
When selecting a different output configuration the frame period is checked. If the frame period is too
small, it is set to the minimum value allowed.

The gap time between 2 consecutive frames can be configured by command:
