Import and Export of config file 

Procedure 6  

Export the configuration from the GUI

 

1 

Login to the GUI and go to Configuration 

→

 Unit Settings.  

2 

Under Download Configuration File tab, click on the “<mac>.cfg” link, where 
<mac> is the MAC address of the device (for example, “01003ea2c274.cfg”). 

3 

Save the file to the local disk. 
 

Procedure 7  

Import the configuration from the GUI

 

1 

Login to the GUI and go to Configuration 

→

 Unit Settings.  

2 

Click on “Browse” button under “Upload and Apply Configuration File” tab 
and select the configuration file from disk. 

3 

Click “Upload” followed by “Apply Configuration File” button click. 

4 

The “Status of Configuration File” section will show the results of the upload. 

5 

Review it to make sure there are no errors. Then click on “Reboot” to reboot 
with the imported configuration 

 
 

 

When a config file is imported or downloaded, all the parameters in the file are 
recorded as last saved changes before the import, not what the radio is currently 
running configuration. 
If the radio Tx power is changed from 17 to 20 and save changes performed (as result 
GUI says “reboot required”), the imported config file will contain the value of 20 for 
Tx power, not 17.
