5. Use the pull-down menus (Figure 3-5) to assign a P220G switch VLAN association
to each of the 16 available 3Com VLAN IDs.
6. Check the box next to 3COM Default in the Name column.
7. Click APPLY to apply the settings. Click CANCEL to return the display to the
current switch settings.
Note: Setting a port to use a 3Com mapping table causes it to ignore other VLAN
tagging parameters.

In a network with multiple 3Com devices, its possible that some parts of a network will
use different VLAN mappings for incoming 3Com tagged packets. The P220G switch
enables you to create additional 3Com mapping tables to use in situations where this
occurs. To create additional mapping tables, complete the following steps:
1. Select 3Com Mapping Table from the menu on the left side of the Web Agent.
The 3Com Mapping Table displays (Figure 3-5).
2. Click CREATE. The Create 3Com Mapping Table screen displays (Figure 3-6).
3. Enter a Name for this entry in the Name field.
4. Click APPLY. The entry is added to the 3Com Mapping Table list.
5. Configure the VLAN mappings for this table as described in the "Creating 3Com
Mapping Tables" section, in Chapter 3.
