To reset the tire pressure
monitor:
Note:
Read through all of the
following procedure before
you begin programming.
Do not allow more than one
minute to elapse when
matching each tire or more
than five minutes to complete
the matching procedure for
all four tires, otherwise you
have to start over.
1. Set the parking brake.
2. Turn the ignition on but do
not start the engine.
3. Press and hold the lock
and unlock buttons on the
transmitter together for
5 seconds.
TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE
(tire
learning active) will appear on
the display.
The horn will sound twice,
indicating the tire matching
process has started.
4. Begin with the left front tire.
5. Remove the valve cap from
the valve stem and increase or
decrease the tire air pressure
for five seconds or until the
horn chirps.
To release air, push on the
metal stem in the center of the
tire valve.
When increasing tire pressure,
do not exceed the maximum
inflation pressure listed on the
sidewall of the tire.
The horn chirp may take up
to 30 seconds to sound,
confirming the tire position
has been stored.
If the horn does not sound,
you must start over with step
1.
6. Repeat the procedure for each
of the remaining tires in the
following order: right front
tire, right rear tire, then left
rear tire.
7. After the horn sounds twice
to confirm that the last tire
position has been stored, turn
off the ignition.
