The indicator light will turn off.
When the temperature is above
freezing, the air conditioning
compressor will run in defog and
defrost modes to help remove
moisture from the air.
You may notice water drip under
the engine sometimes after driving
with air conditioning on. This is
normal.
VEHICLE REMOTE-START
This feature will automatically
activate certain climate control
functions when you use the
vehicle’s remote-starter.
See "Vehicle Remote-Start" under
"Remote Keyless Entry" in Section
3 for more information.
SENSORS
In order for the automatic climate
control system to work properly,
be sure not to cover the sensors.
The climate control system uses
the information from the sensors
to adjust the outlet temperature,
fan speed and air delivery mode.
Solar Sensor
The sensor is located on top of
the instrument panel, near the
windshield.
Temperature Sensors
The inside temperature sensor is
located in the headliner above the
front seats.
The outside temperature sensor is
located at the front of the vehicle,
behind the grille.
Any cover on the front of the
vehicle may cause the system to
give a false temperature reading.
