Display the state of Dynamic IP Multicast Filtering and all the IP
Multicast Group entries by entering the command by itself.
ELS10-27> ipmulticast
Dynamic IP Multicast Þltering is ON
Ipmfilter
The ipmÞlter command is used to Þlter IP Multicast packets from a
particular port. It is also used to enable or disable static IP Multicast Þlter
groups created with the ipmÞlter command.
ELS10-27> ipmÞlter [on | off]
[{add | del[ete]} PORT-RANGE IPMADDR]
Enter the following command to specify ports NOT to be included in
Þlters for an IP Multicast Group. Once a Þlter is in place, the port WILL
NOT transmit packets for that group, even if a host attached to that port
attempts to join the group.
ELS10-27> ipmÞlter add PORT-RANGE IPMADDR
Re-enter the command to add to or change the list of ports in the group.
Add or change the Þlters for an IP Multicast group by entering:
ELS10-27> ipmÞlter add PORT-RANGE IPMADDR
Remove Þlters from an IP Multicast group by entering:
ELS10-27> ipmÞlter del[ete] IPMADDR
Enter the following command to allow the Þrmware to examine IP
Multicast UDP trafÞc and dynamically set up port Þlters to restrict trafÞc
to speciÞc ports.
ELS10-27> ipmÞlter on
The default for ipm Þlter command is off.
Display the IP Þlters by entering:
ELS10-27> ipmÞlter
