Port Status Screen

ILMI State

Indicates whether ILMI is currently operating on the interface. This field may display the
following items:

•

UP -

Indicates ILMI is operating on this interface

•

DOWN -

Indicates that ILMI is not operating on this interface

•

WSta (Wait for Start) -

Indicates that the 9A686-04 is waiting for ILMI to start on this

interface.

•

WSto (Wait for Stop) -

Indicates that 9A686-04 is waiting for ILMI to stop on this

interface.

•

DSta (Deferred Start) -

Indicates that the 9A686-04 is in the process of stopping ILMI

on this interface, but a request to start ILMI has been received.

•

DSto (Deferred Stop) -

Indicates that the 9A686-04 is in the process of starting ILMI on

this interface, but a request to stop ILMI has been received.

Stack Type

Displays the type of Signalling stack this interface is currently supporting. This field can
display the following information:

•

UNI 3.0 N -

Indicates that the port is using UNI 3.0 Signaling. The “N” signifies that this

is a network side stack.

•

UNI 3.0 U -

Indicates that the port is using UNI 3.0 Signalling. The “U” indicates that this

is a user side stack.

•

UNI 3.1 N -

Indicates that the port is using UNI 3.1 Signalling. The “N” signifies that this

is a network side stack.

•

UNI 3.1 U -

Indicates that the port is using UNI 3.1 Signalling. The “U” indicates that this

is a user side stack.

•

UNI 4.0 N -

Indicates that the port is using UNI 4.0 Signalling. The “N” signifies that this

is a network side stack.

•

UNI 4.0 U -

Indicates that the port is using UNI 4.0 Signalling. The “U” indicates that this

is a user side stack.

•

PNNI 1.0 H -

Indicates that port is using for PNNI 1.0 for Signalling. The “H” signifies

that the PNNI Node ID for this interface is greater than (Higher) the adjacent Node ID.

NOTE

The ILMI State field will usually only display “UP” or “DOWN”. The following
definitions for the ILMI State field may display on rare occasions.
