3.10. Replacing Base Bearing Assembly – 981 Series Platforms 

 

Description:  

 
This document explains how to replace the Base Bearing Assembly on 755, 981 and all 985 platform 
types. 
 

Required Materials:

  Base Bearing Assembly 

•

  Misc. Metric Hand Tools (for fasteners) 

•

  Thread Locker – Medium 

•

  Thread Locker - High 

 

 

Procedure:  
 
Warning: It is recommended (2) people perform this procedure to avoid serious damage or 
harm to both operator and equipment. 

 

1. 

Remove AZ/EL cowling and set aside. 

 

2.
