2 Appropriate use
Supply of several 230 V consumers
or to sockets in fixed installations
Installation of the inverter to multiple consumers or to already installed sockets must comply
with all applicable regulations. Valid in particular VDE 0100 and VDE 0105 and other additional
standards and regulations depending on their use and country!
The installation may only be carried out by trained specialists, who are familiar with the applicable
policies and safety standards. When connecting to already installed sockets, it is important to
ensure that no voltage from other sources such as external mains plugin or generator can get to the
inverter output. If an optional supply of sockets is either desired from inverters or other sources,
a mains supply transfer switch unit must be integrated. The BÜTTNER ELEKTRONIK MT NU 3600
mains supply transfer switch unit perfectly matches this requirement.

Required protective devices such as personal protection by residual current devices (RCD) are
depending on the type of installation and regulations! Installations must therefore only be carried
out by trained professionals with the appropriate level of knowledge!

Before any work on the 230 V AC wiring or on the inverter, assure to switch off all voltage
connections and check for absence of any voltage on the 230 V AC side! Ensure that there is no
accidental switching On of the inverter or plugging in of mains voltage is possible!
