EINWEISUNG DER ANWENDER
UND DES FACHPERSONALS
Um die richtige Vorgehensweise bei der reini-
gung und Desinfektion sicherzustellen, empfeh-
len wir, eine entsprechende einweisung der
anwender und des fachpersonals durchzufüh-
ren. Dabei ist zu vermitteln, dass folgende
Punkte zu beachten sind:
n
Der saubere Lattenrost ist so in die w ohnung
des Patienten zu transportieren, dass er zwi-
schenzeitlich nicht verschmutzt oder kontami-
niert werden kann.
n
bei der Demontage des Lattenrostes empfeh-
len wir, diesen unverzüglich zu reinigen und zu
wischdesinfizieren. Das fachpersonal sollte
über die besonderheiten beim reinigungs- und
Desinfektions verfahren informiert sein und die
aufbereitung entsprechend zuverlässig durch-
führen (Vorgabe der arbeitsabläufe bzw. der ein-
zelnen arbeitsschritte durch den betreiber).
Dabei ist darauf zu achten, dass nur DGhMgeli-
stete Desinfektionsmittel in den dort angegebe-
nen Konzentrationen verwendet werden.
Das Desinfektionsmittel muss für die entspre-
chende Oberfläche geeignet sein.

Das fachpersonal sollte für diese Tätigkeit
mit flüssigkeitsundurchlässigen (einweg-)
Schürzen und handschuhen ausgerüstet sein.
n
es sind nur frische, saubere Tücher zur auf-
bereitung zu verwenden, die anschließend in die
wäsche gelangen.
n
im anschluss an die aufbereitung, vor Verlas-
sen des einsatzortes, muss das fachpersonal
eine Desinfektion ihrer hände durchführen,
bevor es zum nächsten einsatzort fährt. ein ent-
sprechender händedesinfektionsmittelspender
(mit hubspenderaufsatz) sollte zur ausrüstung
des fachpersonals gehören.
Die unmittelbare reinigung des Lattenrostes vor
Ort hat den Vorteil, dass keine "unsauberen"
Lattenroste bzw. einzelteile mit sauberen Latten-
rosten im gleichen w agen transportiert werden.
ein Verschleppen von potentiell infektiösen Kei-
men, die eventuell am benutzten Gestell haften,
wird auf diese w eise ver - hindert. eine Übertra-
gung von Keimen im Sinne einer nosokomialen
infektion wird bei konsequenter beachtung die-
ser empfehlungen sicher vermieden.
w enn die Lattenroste nicht gleich wieder zum
einsatz kommen, sollten diese vor Verstauben,
vor versehentlicher Verschmutzung und vor
Kontamination abgedeckt gelagert werden.
INSTRUCTING THE USER AND
QUALIFIED PERSONNEL
To guarantee the correct procedure for cleaning
and disinfection is followed, we recommend to
correctly instruct the handler and qualified per-
sonnel. Thereby communicating that the follow-
ing points need to be observed:
n
The clean slatted frame is to be transported
to the patient's home in such a way that it does
not become polluted or contaminated.
n
when disassembling the slatted frame we
recommend cleaning and disinfecting it right
away. The qualified personnel should be familiar
with the steps necessary to thoroughly clean
and disinfect (the operator will provide the indi-
vidual steps necessary). it is necessary to use
only the DGhM approved disinfectant in the ap-
proved concentration. The disinfectant must be
appropriate for the surface being cleaned.
n
The qualified personnel must be equipped
with water-tight one-time-use aprons and
gloves.
n
Only fresh and clean towels must be used to
clean and disinfect, these must then be given to
the laundry.
n
after cleaning the slatted frame, the qualified
personnel must also disinfect their hands before
going to the next patient. an appropriate
disinfectant dispenser should be part of the
qualified personnel's gear.
The immediate cleaning of the slatted frame
while disassembling has the benefit of not trans-
porting "dirty" slatted frames or frame parts
along with clean ones in the same truck. a trans-
fer of potentially infectious spores which may be
clinging to the used slatted frame may be
avoided. a transfer of spores of a hospitalac-
quired infection will be avoided with strict adher-
ence to these recommendations.
if the slatted frames are to be stored for a while,
they should be covered to keep them free of
dust, accidental pollution and contamination.
