Replacing the Built-In Battery Pack

■

Replacement procedure of built-in battery pack

IMPORTANT

Follow the directions given below and exercise care when replacing the built-in
battery pack not to break or damage the PCB or cable.

NOTE

The battery pack replacement should be done where there is as little dust and other
shop contaminations as possible. In addition, exercise care so that dust or oil mist
does not penetrate the display unit. During the battery pack replacement the circuit
board in the SJ-201P is temporarily exposed. A malfunction may result if dust or
shop contaminations soil the circuit board.

1. Separate the drive/detector unit from the display unit.
2. Remove the two tapping screws at the bottom of the display unit using a Phillips screwdriver.

Do not lose the tapping screws and drive/detector unit retaining plate during this operation.
