4.10 Service functions
The »Service« menu is opened using the following steps:
•
Softkey »INFO« in the menu VIBROTEST 60.
•
Softkey »SERVICE« in the menu VIBROTEST 60 / INFO.
The individual functions are activated by
selecting them using the cursor buttons ,
and then the softkey »SELECT«.
Leave the menu »Service« using the
function button »EXIT«.
4.10.1 Buttons test
This service function allows the functions of the control and
command buttons to be checked. Corresponding to the flashing
symbol, the respective button must be pushed. The functio-
nality of the respective button is displayed by changing from
flashing to a permanent display.
This function is automatically ended after all the buttons have
been pushed.
4.10.2 Display test
The entire display appears alternately white and then black with
a frequency of approx. 1 Hz. This makes faulty pixels easy to
identify.
This function is ended with the button »EXIT«.
4.10.3 Memory test
With this function the PC-card, the Flash ROM and the RAM
can be tested. The respective test is selected using the cursor
buttons; the start of the selected test by the corresponding
softkey. After the selected test is completed a marker is
displayed in the selection line and a corresponding status signal
in the data field.
