3.2 Data-collector mode
In the Data-collector mode measurements on a Route are
acquired and stored. The Route is specified using the PC
program XMS. Details and information about the Route are
loaded onto the PC-card by the PC.
The measurement orders on the Route are displayed and
processed in the specified sequence at the VIBROTEST 60
with the PC-card installed.
During data acquisition a Comment can be stored with each
measurement order.
During the Route changes to the sequence of the measure-
ments at Points in the Route can be made at any time. If any
changes to the predefined measurement orders or the
configuration for measurements are to be made these can only
be made through the XMS program.
3.3 Field Balancing mode
In the Field Balancing mode rotors can be balanced in one or
two planes. Unbalance correction can be done in polar,
component or unit mass format.
VIBROTEST 60 offers the option, at rotors that have previously
been balanced and the balancing procedure stored on the PC-
card, to execute „Repeat balancing„ without conducting any
new test runs.
Advice:
When „Repeat Balancing“ is performed, the Adaptive Mode is
switched off. (See chapter 7).
