15 Switching on/off
Pressing the Charge level key

does
NOT
start the Brose Drive System.
The Brose Drive System can only be
switched on or off using the control unit.
· Please read and observe the operating
instructions of the corresponding
control unit.
INFORMATION
·If the Brose Drive System is not
requesting any power (e.g. when
the e-bike is stationary) or no key is
pressed for a long time on the control
panel, the battery is automatically
switched off to save energy.
·The battery is protected against deep
discharge, overcharge, overheating
and short-circuit. In case of danger,
the battery is automatically switched
off by a protective circuit.
16 Troubleshooting battery
If one or two LEDs flash simultaneously,
the battery is defective.
Switch off the system and contact an
authorized Brose dealer.
If all 4 LEDs flash (quick) simultaneously
for about 10 seconds, the battery has
reached the end of its service life. Please
contact an authorized Brose dealer to
replace the battery.
