12.1 Charging the battery on the
e-bike

1. Switch off the Brose Drive System via
the control unit.
2. Open the charging socket cover

on your e-bike.

To avoid soiling the contacts, clean
the cover before opening it.
3. Connect the device plug

4. Connect the charging plug

the charger to the charging socket

5. Connect the mains cable of the
charger (country-specific) to the
mains supply.

The charging process begins.

When the battery is fully charged, all
4 LEDs of the charge level indicator
light up constantly.
6. After the battery has charged,
disconnect the charger from the
mains supply and then from the
battery.

The charger switches off automati-
cally when disconnected from the
battery.
7. Close charging socket cover

on
your e-bike.
INFORMATION
Always close the charging socket cover
to prevent water or dirt from entering.
The water or dirt entering the charging
socket can lead to malfunctions.
