2-8 Process Mounting
The Brooks QUANTIM will function in any orientation if the Coriolis sensor
and the control valve remain filled with process fluid. Entrapped gas in a
liquid application and entrapped liquid in a gas application should be
prevented as it may disturb the Coriolis sensor and the control valve.
Install the Brooks QUANTIM in the direction of the FLOW arrow.
The arrow indicating proper flow direction is engraved on the front of the
instrument between the process fittings. (See Figure 2-1 below.)
