SAFETY DURING MACHINING OPERATION (II)
For the machine with the table that moves to the right, left, forwards and
backwards with the covers, always be careful and alert while standing near
the table.
Never stand near the moving units of the machine while the machine is
operating. Serious injury can occur by being caught in the rotating unit or
between the moving parts.
All moving units of the machine are enclosed to ensure safety. There are
many moving units all over the machine so exercise caution.
Never touch any rotating part; make sure that the part has stopped rotating
before touching it.
Never try to remove chips while the spindle is rotating.
Cover your hair and do not wear loose clothing or jewelry to avoid becoming
entangled or caught in the machine. Always wear safety shoes when
operating the machine.
Never leave any tools or instruments on the machine operation panel or on
any machine part.
Do not lean against the machine whilst in operation. Leaning on the covers
can be very dangerous.
When working or walking beneath the operator panel, be careful not to hit
your head on the operator panel.
Never use ladders or platforms to access any parts of the machine, you may
fall which could cause an injury
When opening/closing the APC hinge arm, keep fingers off the vicinity of the
hinge and make sure no one is standing close-by.
