instructions below.
1.
Park the air seeder on a flat and level area of
hard ground away from any high traffic areas.
a. The air seeder should be parked with all
wheels square to the direction of travel.
b. To prevent unit movement, block the rear
tires.
Note
If it is necessary to remove the weight while
adjusting, jack up the front tires first.
Refer to
Section 10.3.11.2
for proper jack
locations.
2. Before adjusting/checking the toe-in of the
front tires, check the distance between the
front edge of the axle pivot plate (#1) and the
outside face of the plate on the end of the axle
(#2). The distance must be between 5-7/8"
and 5-15/16".
a. Check this distance on both sides of the
unit.
b. This distance should be the same on each
side, to ensure that the tires are square to
the direction of travel.

Remove the pin in the "tire" end of
the tie rod clevis.
ii.
Loosen the jam nut on the end of the
clevis.
iii. Turn the clevis in the direction for
the adjustment required.
iv. The distance to be adjusted should be
split equally between the two sides.
For example, if the distance to be
adjusted is 1" adjust each side by
1/2".
d. Re-check the distance as explained in
Step
2
.
i.
If the distance is within the tolerance,
proceed to
Step 3
