Conveyor Maintenance Schedule

Initial Start-Up Servicing
The belt alignment is preset to run true under a
condition of no load. It is important to check
alignment and make adjustments if required during
the initial few minutes of loaded operation.
To adjust alignment refer to
Section 10.3.7.4.1.2 or
10.3.7.4.2.2
depending on conveyor design.

8 Hours or Daily
1. Check hydraulic hoses for wear.
2. Check the conveyor belt tension and alignment.

40 Hours or Weekly
1. Check the conveyor belt tension and alignment.

Check the condition of the hopper flashing.
a. Be sure it seals the hopper and prevents
grain leakage.
3. Look for hydraulic leaks and repair if required.

200 Hours or Annually
1. Check roller bearings for wear.
a. Any rollers making noise, getting hot
while running, or that have play should be
replaced.
2. Inspect roller lagging to see if it is showing
signs of wear.
3. Check the belt lacing.
a. If any clips are worn through, replace all
lacing.

Check the hopper flashing for wear and replace
any that are worn.

Worn flashing will cause hopper leakage.
Important
Operating the conveyor with a damaged roller will
result in a damaged conveyor belt.
