Troubleshooting
The Control Unit provides system errors, channel errors and channel messages to communicate status information� Descriptions of these
errors/messages and troubleshooting steps are provided in this section�
In rare circumstances, the Control Unit may present fault dialogs, reboot, fail to properly boot at power on, or fail to turn off as a result of
software anomalies� If the Control Unit reboots or if a fault dialog is presented, follow the on-screen prompts and troubleshooting steps
below to begin or resume therapy, or use the power button to turn the Control Unit off and back on if necessary� If the Control Unit failed to
boot, press and hold the power button for 10 or more seconds to put the Control Unit into low power mode, wait 30 seconds, and then turn
the Control Unit back on� If the Control Unit fails to turn off, attempt to turn the Control Unit off a second time�
If the issue cannot be resolved by following the onscreen instructions, turning the Control Unit off and back on, or by following the
troubleshooting steps below, note the associated issue and/or error code in parentheses at the end of the message and call the phone
number listed in the For Support section on the back of the cover page�
System Errors
A system error affects both channels and stops ultrasound therapy on both channels� System errors are related to system failures, Control
Unit temperature conditions and device cross connection errors� When a system error occurs, an error message with an alert icon displays and
an audible tone sounds� Read the message and follow the instructions to attempt to correct the error� Press the
Audio Pause
button on the
Control Unit to silence the alert tone for 5 minutes� When the tone is silenced the alert icon on the display is crossed out� If the issue cannot
be resolved by following the onscreen instructions, note the error code in parentheses at the end of the message and call the phone number
listed in the Technical Support section below�
Note:
In the event that the Control Unit is not operational and ultrasound therapy has stopped, infusion of the solutions will not be
interrupted�
