Pre-Assembled Rhino - Installation Manual 

Simultaneous / Integrated / Retro Configuration

 

 

Involves diverting the flow of water after the filtration system. This system is usually adopted 
when the solar suction and return lines don't exist, as it is an easy way to retro fit a solar system 
without affecting any other part of the pool structure. A Solar Booster pump can be used to push 
the filtered water up to the solar absorber if required. The only disadvantage with this set-up is 
that the solar can only operate when the filtration system is operating. 

 

Requires: 

1 x AS5CD Digital Solar Controller or similar 
1 x Check Valve (also known as a Non-Return or One-Way Valve) 
2 x PVC Tee 
1 x Booster Pump (that can deliver 3 liters per minute per m² of collector)
