Changing and selecting tightening programs
With the MID 2505, parameters defined in an existing tightening program can be changed. The changed
tightening program is then selected as in MID 0018.
Prerequisite: The tightening program itself, as well as the tightening step and the entry of the
corresponding parameter in the tightening program must already be available. A value that does not exist
in the tightening step cannot be added or changed. It is not possible to add a tightening step, to switch
a target function off/over, to switch off a monitoring function or to switch over a monitoring function
(between switching / NOT switching). The value of a monitoring function is checked for plausibility against
the value of the corresponding monitoring function stored in the tightening program. For this reason, a
command error can be reported despite correctly specified min. and max. values if, for example, the min.
value of the angle monitoring function is smaller than the associated max. value stored in the program.
If necessary, the sequence of the PIDs within the telegram must be observed here, i.e. an existing max.
value must first be increased so that a new min. value which is greater than/equal to the original max. value
is accepted.

Danger to system functionality due to faulty system behavior
Changing the parameters via the MID 2505 has an influence on the tightening process and thus on
the system functionality.
Test the functionality of changes made.
Example
To increase an existing min. value of MF A- from 370° to 385° in a tightening step, the existing
corresponding max. value MF A+ must first be increased from 380° to > 385°.
Otherwise a plausibility violation is detected:(!) MF A+ [380°] >MF A- [385°]
