Exhaust Line (see figure B)
With an exhaust line, exhaust air can be con-
ducted through an exhaust hose away from your
workplace and, at the same time, optimal muf-
fling/silencing can be achieved. Additionally,
your working conditions are improved, as your
workplace is freed from oil-contaminated air or
stirred up dust or chips.
Unscrew the muffler
2
at the air outlet and re-
place it with the hose nipple
18
with male thread.
Loosen the hose clamp
13
of the exhaust hose
19
and attach the exhaust hose over the hose
nipple
18
with male thread by firmly tightening
the hose clamp.
Changing the Tool
f
Disconnect the air hose from the air source
before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing the air tool.
Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of
starting the air tool accidentally.
f
The rated speed of the accessory must be at
least equal to the maximum speed marked
on the air tool.
Accessories running faster
than their rated speed can burst and fly apart.
f
Use only flawless tool bits that are not
worn.
Defective tool bits can break, for ex-
ample, and cause injury or damage.
