GENERAL
Prior to changing the engine oil, ensure vehicle is
on a level surface.
Oil and oil filter no. 1 must be replaced at the same
time and oil tank strainer no. 2 must be cleaned
too. Oil change, oil filter replacement and oil tank
strainer cleaning should be done with a warm en-
gine.
Dispose oil and filter as per your local environmen-
tal regulations.
At installation, use torque values and Loctite prod-
ucts from the exploded view. Clean threads before
using Loctite products when installing screws.
ENGINE PRESSURE TEST
NOTE: The engine pressure test should be done
with a warm engine and with the recommended
oil at the proper level.
Remove the oil pressure switch no. 3 above oil
filter and install the engine oil pressure adapter
(P/N 529 035 652) and the oil pressure gauge
(P/N 529 035 709).

The engine pressure should be 50 kPa (7 PSI) min-
imum at idle and 300 kPa (44 PSI) at 6000 RPM.
NOTE: The maximum oil pressure is 600 kPa
(87 PSI).
If the engine pressure is out of specifications,
check the points described in TROUBLESHOOT-
ING section.
OIL CHANGE AND OIL FILTER
REPLACEMENT
Ensure vehicle is on a level surface.
Remove dipstick no. 4 .
Clean the reservoir drain plug area.

WARNING
The engine oil can be very hot. Wait until en-
gine oil is warm.
