(i)

a number of additional measures are taken when the crane transports a load:

(1) The boom must be transported in the direction of movement.
(2) The superstructure must be secured against rotation (alternatively, position the

boom on the boom rest mounted to the vehicle), unless it is to be rotated, the
operator is in the cab or the boom is secured in a bracket.
