8.7 Barcode
The EF400 includes a 2D barcode scanner. To use the barcode scanning function,

On the Home screen, tap

Tap
Open
to start scanning the barcode.

Press the Right or Left button. A red laser will come from the top of your device.

Aim the red beam across the barcode you want to scan.
When scanning, maintain a distance of about 10 cm or 4 in. for the best result and aim it at an
appropriate angle as shown the following image.
Do not stare into the LED aimer of the barcode scanner. It may injure your eyes.

When the barcode is scanned successfully, you can hear a beep sound and the results will appear on the
screen.
8.8 Snapdragon Camera
Use this app to take photos or record videos.
On the Home screen, tap

. You can also directly open the camera app from the lock screen. Swipe
the screen to right while tapping

The first time you open the Camera app, you are prompted to add location tag to the photos and
display the information.

If micro SD card is installed, the photos and videos will be saved on the internal storage.
