The status bar appears at the top of the screen. It displays the status icons and the current time on the
right, and the notification icons on the left.

Notification icons in the status bar alert you to notifications, such as upcoming events, network or Bluetooth
connectivity, and much more.

Description

Indicates that a Wi-Fi network is available.

Indicates that a Wi-Fi connection is being used to transfer data.

Indicates that a cellular data connection is being shared with other devices over Wi-Fi.

Indicates that your device is connected to a Bluetooth device.

Indicates that new notifications are available.

Indicates that call forwarding is active.

Indicates that Quiet hours is turned on in Cortana’s settings.

Indicates the signal strength.

Indicates no signal.

Indicates that Airplane mode is active. You cannot make any calls, and other wireless functions
are disabled.

Indicates that the SIM card is missing.

Indicates that the SIM card is locked.
